March 2026 is one of the biggest months for class action settlements in recent memory. Billions of dollars in settlement funds are currently open for claims, and many of them have deadlines approaching in the next few weeks to months. Whether you had a Capital One savings account, swiped a credit card, bought beef at the grocery store, or used Tinder, there is a good chance you qualify for at least one of these payouts. Here are the 9 Best class action settlements March 2026 that you can file claims for right now — ranked by a combination of payout size, ease of filing, and how many people are likely to qualify.
This is the largest AI-related settlement in history. Anthropic, the company behind the Claude AI chatbot, agreed to pay $1.5 billion to resolve claims that it used copyrighted books to train its AI models without permission. If you are an author, publisher, or rights holder whose written work was published before 2024, you may be eligible for up to $3,000 per work with proof of copyright registration. Even without proof, smaller payments may be available. This is an enormous fund and the deadline is just days away — do not wait on this one.

Capital One agreed to pay $425 million after a lawsuit alleged the bank quietly lowered interest rates on its 360 Savings accounts while marketing them as high-yield, then launched a new "360 Performance Savings" product with the higher rates — forcing existing customers to manually switch or earn far less. If you had a Capital One 360 Savings account between September 2019 and June 2025, you likely qualify. No claim form is needed — payments are automatic based on Capital One's records. However, you should choose your payment method (electronic is faster) and update your address by the deadline below. The final approval hearing is April 20, 2026.

Toyota agreed to a $299.5 million non-reversionary settlement covering defective internal combustion forklifts built between 2007 and 2021 with certain engine models. If your business purchased or leased a qualifying Toyota forklift, you could receive $1,000 to $2,500 or more per unit, plus a free service visit and an extended parts warranty. This is a massive settlement for a niche class — if you are in the forklift world, this is real money.

State Farm Bank and affiliated entities agreed to pay over $110 million — including $35 million in cash (automatic, no claim form) plus $75 million in deficiency balance write-offs and credit bureau deletions — to borrowers whose property was repossessed. If you had a secured loan from State Farm Bank, EMVLP, or Afni and your property was repossessed after receiving presale and post-sale notices on or after July 25, 2017, you are in the class. No claim form is needed for the cash portion — payments are automatic. The opt-out deadline is the one to watch here.

Joint Juice agreed to a $90 million settlement over allegations that its glucosamine supplement products were marketed with misleading health claims. If you purchased Joint Juice products, you could receive up to $50 per unit with proof of purchase. Even without receipts, you may still qualify for a payment at a lower amount. This is a large fund for a consumer product settlement and the per-person payouts with proof are unusually generous.

Major beef producers agreed to an $87.5 million settlement to resolve allegations they conspired to fix beef prices. If you bought beef in the United States during the relevant period, you may qualify for a payment. This is one of those open class action settlements 2026 where a huge number of people are eligible because nearly everyone buys beef — but because the class is so large, individual payouts may be modest. Still worth the few minutes to file.

Tinder agreed to pay $60.5 million to settle a lawsuit alleging the dating app charged users over 29 years old significantly more for premium subscriptions (Tinder Plus and Tinder Gold) than younger users for the exact same features. If you are over 29 and paid for Tinder Plus or Tinder Gold, you could receive an estimated $100 to $300. The settlement covers users in California and potentially other states depending on class definitions. This one is easy to file and the per-person payouts are solid.

Christian Dior agreed to settle a class action stemming from a January 2025 data breach that exposed customers' personal information including names, contact details, dates of birth, government IDs, and in some cases Social Security numbers. If your data was exposed, you can receive $100 without any proof of loss. If you have documented losses (identity theft costs, credit monitoring, etc.), you may claim up to $1,500 in reimbursement plus $100 flat for SSN exposure. Two years of credit monitoring with $1 million fraud insurance is also included.

Visa, Mastercard, and American Express agreed to a $17.5 million settlement over allegations related to credit card surcharges and merchant fees that were passed along to consumers. If you are new to filing class action claims, the process is simple. Click the link for the settlement you qualify for. You will be taken to the official settlement website or directly to the OCA settlement page with a link to the claim form. Fill out the form — most take under five minutes and require only your name, address, and basic eligibility information. Submit it. That is it. You never have to pay anything to file a class action claim. It is always free. If a site asks for payment, it is a scam.
The single most important thing is the deadline. Miss the deadline and you get nothing — no matter how strong your claim. If you see a settlement above that applies to you, file today. Do not bookmark it and forget. Do not tell yourself you will do it later. The deadlines for Capital One (payment method selection) and Anthropic (claim filing) are both March 30 — just 8 days away.
