Dorel Juvenile Group is recalling nearly 180,000 Safety 1st “Grow & Go Sprint” child seats they manufactured between February and December 2023 which pose a choking hazard. The headrest foam pad is not adequately secured in certain models, allowing a child to pick off pieces of foam and possibly ingest them. The affected car seats include the following model numbers:

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued a recall and warning for the owners of nearly 183,000 child booster seats as they may be dangerous to children after receiving reports of over a dozen kids placing pieces of foam pads in their mouth that may be toxic.
