Enroll Confidently Data Breach Settlement: Up to $3,500 or ~$100 Cash
PublishedJune 25, 2026
If you received a breach notice from Enroll Confidently, you can claim up to $3,500 in documented losses or an estimated $100 cash payment, plus credit monitoring, before the July 22, 2026 deadline.
Enroll Confidently, Inc., an employee benefits enrollment provider, agreed to a $990,000 class action settlement to resolve litigation over a February 2024 data breach. The case is Voelker, et al. v. Enroll Confidently Inc., No. 2:24-cv-01886, in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona, before the Honorable Diane J. Humetewa.
According to the lawsuit, an unauthorized party gained temporary access to Enroll Confidently's systems on or about February 13, 2024, potentially exposing the private information of current and former employees and clients. The complaint alleges Enroll Confidently failed to adequately safeguard that information. The company denies the allegations and any wrongdoing, and no court has decided who is right. The two sides agreed to settle to avoid the costs, risks, and uncertainty of continued litigation.

What Happened?
Enroll Confidently experienced a data incident on or about February 13, 2024, when an unauthorized party gained temporary access to its systems. The company later determined that private information it collects for current and former employees and clients may have been accessed. It then began notifying affected individuals.
The information involved varied by person and, according to the settlement notice, may have included names, addresses, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, health insurance and benefit information, and medical information. If you received a notice letter from Enroll Confidently about this incident, your information was among the data the company identified as potentially affected.
Who Qualifies?
The settlement class includes all living United States residents who were sent a notice by Enroll Confidently that their private information may have been impacted in the February 2024 data breach. In practical terms, if the company mailed or emailed you a breach notice about this incident, you are a class member and may file a claim.
You will need the Unique ID and PIN printed on the postcard notice mailed to you to file through the online claim form, so keep that notice handy. If you believe you were affected but cannot locate your notice, you can request a paper Claim Form or filing details through the contact options on the official settlement website at ECIDataSettlement.com.
How Much Can You Get?
The settlement offers class members a choice between reimbursement of documented losses and a flat alternative cash payment, plus credit monitoring.
Cash Payment A — Documented losses. You can claim up to $3,500 for documented, unreimbursed out-of-pocket losses more likely than not caused by the data incident and incurred after February 13, 2024. This can include unreimbursed losses related to fraud or identity theft; costs to freeze or unfreeze your credit; and miscellaneous expenses such as notary, fax, postage, copying, mileage, and long-distance telephone charges. You must provide reasonable supporting documents — such as receipts, account or telephone records, or correspondence; a personal certification on its own is not enough.
Cash Payment B — Alternative cash payment. Instead of Cash Payment A, and without providing documentation, you can submit a claim for a flat alternative cash payment estimated at about $100. The final amount may be adjusted up or down pro rata depending on the total value of all valid claims. You may choose Cash Payment A or Cash Payment B, not both.
Credit monitoring. In addition to Cash Payment A or B, every class member can claim one year of free credit monitoring with three credit bureaus. If you select it, an activation code is sent after the settlement is final; no documentation is required for this benefit.
Is Proof Required?
Yes. Filing online requires the Unique ID and PIN printed on the postcard notice mailed to you, so the page is marked proof required. A claimant who never received a notice, or who discarded it, cannot file online without first contacting the settlement administrator through the official settlement website.
Beyond the ID and PIN, the documentation needed depends on which benefit you choose. The Cash Payment B alternative cash payment (about $100) and the credit monitoring require no supporting documents. The Cash Payment A documented-loss reimbursement does require reasonable documentation — receipts, account or telephone records, or correspondence showing the loss and that it was tied to the incident; a personal statement on its own is not enough.
How to File a Claim
File your claim online or by mail through the official settlement website, ECIDataSettlement.com. You will need the Unique ID and PIN from your postcard notice to file through the online claim form. Choose either Cash Payment A (documented losses up to $3,500) or Cash Payment B (the ~$100 alternative cash payment), add the one year of credit monitoring if you want it, and upload supporting documents if you are claiming documented losses. The deadline is July 22, 2026.

Attorneys' Fees and Service Awards
Class Counsel will ask the Court to approve attorneys' fees of up to one-third of the $990,000 settlement fund, plus reimbursement of reasonable costs, and a service award of up to $5,000 for each Class Representative. These amounts are paid from the settlement fund and are subject to Court approval; the Court may award less than requested.
Beware of Scams
Legitimate settlement administrators never ask you to pay a fee to file a claim or to receive a payment. File only through the official settlement website and never share more information than the claim form requires.
