What Was the Case About?

The lawsuit alleged breach of express warranty, violations of consumer protection laws, and unjust enrichment in connection with certain products manufactured and sold by MAM USA Corporation. MAM Baby, as the company is widely known, sells pacifiers, baby bottles, teething toys, feeding accessories and oral care products for babies and toddlers.

MAM agreed to the settlement to resolve the claims. The settlement is not an admission of wrongdoing.

Who Was Covered?

The class covered people who purchased one or more of the qualifying MAM products between March 17, 2016 and September 30, 2024 for personal use rather than resale. The list of covered products was published on the official settlement website.

What Benefits Were Available?

The settlement was capped at a maximum of $2,750,000, with benefits scaled to whether a claimant could document their purchases:

• Without proof of purchase: up to $1.50 in cash, or a product voucher worth up to $6.
• With valid proof of purchase: up to $20 in cash, or a product voucher worth up to $30.

Amounts could be adjusted depending on the number of valid claims approved against the cap.

What Proof Was Required?

Filing required registering with the settlement administrator to obtain a Class Member ID before a claim form could be submitted electronically or by mail. Because that administrator-issued identifier gated every claim, this page is marked Proof Required: Yes — even though the lowest benefit tier needed no receipts. Documentation was separately required to claim the higher $20 cash or $30 voucher tiers.

What Happens Next?

The remaining steps were the court's ruling on final approval, resolution of any appeal, and distribution of cash payments and vouchers to approved claimants. No final approval order and no distribution date had been located as of July 29, 2026. Updates are posted on the official settlement website.
