Who Qualifies?
The court has defined the settlement class as all individuals residing in the United States whose personal information was compromised in the data breach discovered by Robbie D. Wood in October 2024, including all those who received notice of the breach. How Much Can You Get?
Class members can choose one of two payment options:Documented loss reimbursement of up to $5,000 for actual, documented out-of-pocket losses that are fairly traceable to the data breach and incurred between October 1, 2024 and August 5, 2026. Eligible losses can include money lost to identity theft or fraud; fees for credit reports, credit monitoring, or freezing and unfreezing your credit incurred on or after February 11, 2025; the cost to replace IDs; postage to contact banks by mail; and accountant fees or other out-of-pocket costs related to tax issues. This option requires supporting documentation such as receipts or bank statements; self-prepared notes alone are not enough.
Alternatively, class members may choose a one-time cash payment of $65 with no proof or documentation required. If you choose this option you cannot also claim documented losses, though you may still claim credit monitoring.
Separately, all class members may enroll in two years of CyEx Medical Shield Complete, which includes $1 million of identity theft insurance and monitoring for fraud, identity theft, and unauthorized financial activity. Payment amounts may be adjusted on a pro rata basis depending on the number of valid claims submitted and the funds available.

To log in to the online claim form you will need the Notice ID printed on the notice you received, along with your last name. Choose either the $65 alternative cash payment or the documented-loss option, and upload your supporting documents if you are claiming reimbursed losses. The deadline to exclude yourself from (opt out of) or object to the settlement is July 6, 2026. The court will hold the final approval hearing on August 18, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. Central Time in Room 340 of the Circuit Court of Jefferson County, Alabama, in Bessemer; the date may change, so check the official settlement website for updates.
