Settlement Summary
A $4,750,000 settlement has been reached in which it is alleged Cheesecake Factory willfully violated FACTA by printing point-of-sale receipts for card transactions at its Cheesecake Factory restaurants that displayed the
first six and last four digits of the credit or debit card number for a period of time
commencing at select stores on November 10, 2016, and ending by no later than February 4, 2017.

Do I Qualify for this Class Action?
If you made a purchase at a Cheesecake Factory owned, operated, or branded restaurant using
an EMV credit card or debit card between November 10, 2016, and February 4, 2017, you may be
entitled to benefits under a class action settlement. It is important to note that only some Cheesecake Factory locations printed such receipts. Once you submit a claim which will ask for details of your transact ion at Cheesecake Factory, claim administrators may check to see whether the location you provided information for actually printed such receipts.
What Can I Get?
The final payment amount will depend on the total number of valid and timely claims submitted
by Settlement Class Members, which Class Counsel estimates is $28 to $56 on a pro-rated basis.
How Do I File a Claim and Get Paid?
To receive a payment, you must have submitted a Claim Form at the latest by
March 31, 2022.
The Court held a Final Approval Hearing at 10:00 a.m. on May 6, 2022, at Spring Street
Courthouse in the Superior Court of the State of California for the County of Los Angeles.
